Terms & Conditions:

  • All our treatment start from the booked time slot regardless of if you are late.

Health & Safety:

  • Medical Disclosures: You must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, or injuries before treatment begins on your booking form.

  • Massage may be refused for certain conditions, such as unhealed wounds, severe varicose veins, or if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 

Management Cancellations:

  • We are a professional business offering professional massage services, we do not give any form of sexual offerings you be asked to leave and will not be welcome to attend again.

  • Management reserve the right to refuse any treatment at any time.

  • Management may have to cancel or move a booking at anytime to another day, you will be notified by email and/or by mobile.

Client Comfort: 

  • You must notify the therapist immediately within 10 minutes if you experience any pain or discomfort so they can adjust their technique.

  • If after, 10 mins of the treatment commencing you feel, you still feel pain or discomfort or not liking the treatment you must instruct the masseuse to stop treatment, where you will not be charged for this time and given a refund.

 

Professional Conduct:

  • Strictly Professional: Pha Thai Massage is a therapeutic, non-sexual service.

  • All clients must wear underwear for all the treatments, absolutely no exceptions.

  • Zero Tolerance: Any inappropriate comments, gestures, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session without a refund and a ban from the premises, and you will be reported to the authorities.

  • Hygiene: Clients are expected to arrive in a clean state ("shower fresh") out of respect for the therapist.

Payments & Refunds:

  • Payment Timing: Full Payment or Part payment is required either at the time of booking or immediately upon arrival.

  • Refund Policy: No refunds are offered once a treatment has surpassed 10 mins regardless of the time slot booking.

  • Vouchers: Gift vouchers are typically valid for 3 months and are non-refundable nor transferrable to any monetary value.

  • All clients are to pay on arrival if not already paid online.

  • Notice Period: A minimum of 24 hours notice is typically required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or "no-shows," will incur the full treatment fee.

  • Arrival Time: We ask for all clients to arrive 5 minutes earlier before treatment slot to allow you time to change.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your treatment time will be shortened to avoid delaying the next client, but you will still be charged the full price.

Liability & Privacy

  • Personal Property: The clinic is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings left in treatment rooms or common areas.

  • Data Protection: Personal and medical data is stored securely in accordance with GDPR/Data Protection Acts and is used only for the treatment purposes on the day.

Injury Reporting:

  • Duty to Disclose: "Clients must provide a full and accurate medical history before treatment. Pha Thai Massage accepts no liability for injuries resulting from undisclosed pre-existing conditions or 'contraindications' (e.g., recent fractures, surgeries, or heart disease)."

  • Immediate Communication: "If you experience pain or discomfort during your Thai massage, you must inform the therapist immediately so they can adjust their technique. Failure to do so may limit your ability to hold the therapist responsible for post-session discomfort."

  • Normal Post-Massage Effects: "It is common to feel muscle soreness or localized bruising after deep tissue or Thai massage. These are typically temporary recovery symptoms and not necessarily signs of injury."

  • Injury Claims & Medical Evidence: "In the event of a suspected injury caused by the treatment, the client must:

    1. Notify Pha Thai Massage in writing via email/ text message within 48 hours of the time and date of the treatment.

    2. Provide a formal medical certificate or doctor’s report that explicitly details the injury and assesses its likely cause within 72 hours.

    3. Acknowledge that a general 'soreness' note from a GP is not classed as to be sufficient to prove negligence if the treatment followed professional standards."

 

Legal and Insurance Considerations:

  • Liability Waivers: Under UK law, we cannot legally waive liability for personal injury caused by our negligence. However, a signed "Informed Consent" form proves you the client has understood the risks.

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance: We have Medical Professional Indemnity insurance.

  • Accident Book: If after the session and you have sustained an injury caused through our negligence you must ensure we have entered it into the accident book immediately.
